Website update
18 April 2011
It's been greatly encouraging to see the website used as much as it has. Since its launch in early November, we have had 3,787 sermons downloaded - and in April there were 1667 unique visitors - far more than we could ever imagine.
Added to this is the fact that many of the downloads (according to Google statistics) are coming from North America. Never under-eise artefacts, cutting out extra noise, boosting low voices etc
4) Website is unlocked
5) Sermon is uploaded
6) Sermon is added to database, with details such as preacher, sermon text, title etc added
7) Sermon is linked with the database
8) Sermon time is added
9) All sermon details are cAs you can see this is a lengthy process, made longer by the fact that Peter has to do some of the above, and Gordon has to do the others. They have to be done in this order and with additional issues such as work, other church commitments, as well as general home life, the time it takes for the pair of us to be able to work together in getting the sermons uploaded does take longer than we would wish, but it's the best we can do.
Also, as the whole process is bitty, and time consuming, it is often easier to get a group of sermons up onto the Internet at once rather than do it one at a time.
As an added bonus, please note that half of the 2008 sermons preached have been already uploaded, and hopefully the other half will be up on the website shortly.
Then we have the task of getting all of 2009 sermons uploaded.

However, the one question I am asked more than any other in regards to the website is... "When will the latest sermons be uploaded?" In response to this, may I take a brief moment to explain the process we have to go through to get the sermons online, and maybe explain why it takes us so long sometimes!
1) Sermon is preached and recorded
2) The sermon is converted to MP3 format
3) The sermon may then be edited, reducing noise artefacts, cutting out extra noise, boosting low voices etc

Both Peter and I thank you for your patience, and we praise God that the sermons are so widely listened to - both at home and abroad. Thank you to everyone who has given comment on how the website can be improved, and we contine to welcome your feedback.
Every Blessing...
